Types of Notifications

Your Hub comes enable with a suite of notification management options available in the notification management under the Account Profile on the Hub or at https://build.ihub.app/account/notifications on the Builder.

GENERAL NOTIFICATIONS

Newsletter

  • Daily or weekly Digests/newsletters are sent to the Users email with all the content that they haven't viewed yet in the IHUBApp (based on Channels they have joined).

Mobile

  • Push notification for new comments

  • Push notification for new messages

Desktop

  • Desktop notifications for new comments

  • Desktop notifications for new messages

  • Desktop notifications for new posts

Email

  • Email for new comments

  • Email for new messages

  • Email when comment approved

  • Email when post approved

  • Email when new content is submitted

Other

  • Message Center: When a Message is sent through the Message Center on the IHUBApp, the Registered User will be notified by email.

  • Channel Invitations: When a Registered User is invited by the Administrator to join a specific Channel, an email will be sent with an invitation.

  • Event Reminders: An email is sent to the user reminding them of any events they have registered for.

In-App (Hub) Notifications

A numbered bubbled that is displayed in a notification area to highlight content that the Registered User has not seen yet.

SMS Notifications

You have the ability to turn on SMS notifications for specific channels that are enabled on your IHUBApp. This means that whenever content is uploaded to those specific channels you will receive a text message to your phone with a preview and link to view the content. Standard message and data rates may apply.

NOTE: You must separately purchase a package to enable SMS Notification on your hub.

Channel notification settings

Users have the ability to mute, and toggle Mobile, Desktop, and Email notifications for specific channels that have been joined.

 

ADMIN-SPECIFIC NOTIFICATIONS

New submitted content notifications

Users have the ability to submit content to the Hub and with new submitted content notifications toggled on, the admin will receive email notifications whenever there is submitted content waiting for approval in the builder dashboard.

Successful User Registration

An alert is provided when a user has successfully registered.
